Research Higher Degrees (PhD/MPhil)

Overview

The Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences is home to a vibrant community of approximately 150 PhD students, training to become highly productive researchers, publishing in highly regarded journals under the supervision of leading academics from around the world.

There are a number of well-equipped laboratories within the School of Psychological Sciences in which research is carried out by our staff and students, often in collaboration with researchers from other University departments and affiliated institutions. Many of these laboratories have been successful in obtaining grants from the Australian Research Council (ARC), the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and other external grant awarding bodies.
