Information about Personal Tutoring by Postgraduate Students BY Private Tutoring
Below is a list of psychology postgraduate students available for personal tutoring. These students are currently undertaking a PhD, Doctor of Psychology or Master of Psychology.
A few tips about arranging personal tutoring:
- If you have difficulties with your subject(s) discuss them with your lecturer/convenor.
- Make sure you consider all of the appropriate University services available to you (e.g. Learning Skills Unit).
- Make sure both you and your prospective tutor are clear about exactly what you need to cover before you enter into an agreement.
- Some tutors may be interested in running some smaller group tutorials (3-4 people) which would be cheaper for those students without funds for one to one tutorials.
- The Student Employment Service can advise you on average tutoring rates.
