Cognitive Psychology
Members of the cognitive psychology group conduct research into many and varied aspects of higher level cognitive functioning, including processes of attention, memory, language, reasoning and decision making. In some cases, the focus of the research is on understanding a cognitive process in its skilled form, while other researchers are interested in the acquisition of particular cognitive functions and the ways in which they can be impaired.
