Clinical Psychology

The University of Melbourne Clinical Psychology Program incorporates training in the design, implementation and dissemination of high quality clinical research. Academic staff associated with the Clinical Psychology Program are active in specialist clinical work and research, including in the clinical domains of the psychotic disorders, the personality disorders, eating disorders, anxiety disorders and depression and psychological aspects of physical health problems. Prominent amongst the latter are the Orygen Research Centre, the Mental Health Research Institute, Spectrum Personality Disorder Service, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Centre for Rural Mental Health. Along with other research collaborations, these associations provide students with clinical exciting research opportunities across child, adolescent and adult populations.
