Jodi Salinger
Master of Psychology /PhD Candidate
Jodi graduated with a Honours degree in 2006 and is currently pursuing the combined Master of Clinical Psychology/PhD at the School.
I began my studies in psychology at the Melbourne University with the vague idea that I was interested in interactions between the mind and behaviour. I was also attracted to the discipline as I wanted to be able to tie together elements of my science background, with aspects of my arts background.
I completed my undergraduate major in Psychology, and because I remained highly intrigued in the field, I decided to do the honors year. It was a challenging, but ultimately extremely rewarding year. It provided me with job opportunities I otherwise would not have been given, and which I didn’t even know existed prior to the completion of this year.
For the most part, I have thoroughly enjoyed my studies in Psychology, and, as a consequence, have decided to engage in more study in this area.
