I decided to pursue postgraduate study at the University of Melbourne after completing an undergraduate degree in New Zealand because it provided the opportunity for a first class psychology education in a wonderful city. Over the course of my combined Masters (organisational psychology) and PhD (social psychology) degree, I benefited greatly from the intellectual stimulation and guidance provided by academics in the Department, and from the warmth of the postgraduate community.
Since completing, my University of Melbourne qualification has opened many doors for me, and I am very excited to be able to take up a postdoctoral research position at the University of Exeter in the UK. At the same time, it is with sadness that I am leaving a place marked by so many happy memories.
