Dr Amee Baird

Dr Amee Baird completed her combined PhD and MPsych in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Melbourne in 2003. Her thesis topic was sexual outcome after epilepsy surgery. She then worked as a clinical neuropsychologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London for 2 years. She returned to Australia and continued her clinical work at the Neuropsychiatry Service at James Fletcher and John Hunter Hospitals in Newcastle. In 2007 she returned to Europe to start a postdoctoral research position at the Salpetriere Hospital in Paris. Her current research is in the neuropsychology of music, specifically musical memory.
