Prasuna Reddy's research is primarily in the application of psychology in clinical health services. Her current research is focused on clinical pathways for assessment and management of comorbid psychological disorders and medical conditions in primary practices and hospitals. Recent research grants are linked with University Departments of Rural Health, National Heart Foundation, Diabetes Australia , National Cancer Control Initiative and beyondblue. At a broader level, Prasuna's research is concerned with the psychology of adjustment to chronic illness, cross-cultural issues in diagnosis and treatment of comorbid depression, training of health professionals in multidisciplinary settings, and evaluation of health services in rural communities.
