Dr Bryant has extensive experience as a senior clinical psychologist in adult mental health services, and within the field of physical health. Recent work roles have involved direct clinical work in oncology and pain services, as well as secondary consultation, for example in the areas of palliative care and the mental health of older adults. Her current position includes teaching, and clinical and research supervision in the University of Melbourne postgraduate Clinical Psychology Program. Teaching undertaken in the Clinical Psychology Program includes the areas of psychosocial perspectives on psychological disorders, psychological work with older adults, and psychological aspects of physical health conditions. Her role at the Royal women's Hospital involves clinical work in gynaecology, and the development of research programmes, including supervision of student research projects.
