I lecture at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level in cognitive neuropsychology and clinical neuropsychology. I conduct research in the general area of cognitive neuropsychology. My research interests include stroke, dementia, attention and memory. My research combines cognitive neuropsychology with clinical neuropsychology to examine theories of cognitive function in clinical samples. I have a particular interest in the interface between high-level systems of attention and memory and the influence of working memory and organisational abilities on fundamental memory function. I am also interested in investigating the role of the frontal lobes in cognition, as well as examining the role of Neuropsychology in the medical setting.
